Shadows On The Wall was inspired by street art, graffiti, and by the power of courage in all of us. I was especially inspired by the poem by Maya Angelou called “Life Doesn’t Frighten Me” and by the incredible artwork by Jean-Michel Basquiat.
I created this abstract painting using archival-grade acrylic paint on luxuriously thick, inch and a half deep gallery wrapped canvas. The edges are painted, so the piece is ready to hang unframed.
