Midnight In The Garden was inspired by the glow of moonlight shining through a garden and the feelings it evoked.
The two 12″x12″ paintings create a stunning diptych that can be hung together or separately.
I started this painting with acrylic paint and blended it like watercolors. Although I guide the paint, I also let the colors and shapes develop naturally.
I created this abstract painting using archival-grade oil paint, gold leaf, and natural non-toxic solvent on luxuriously thick, inch and a half deep gallery wrapped canvas. The edges are painted, so the piece is ready to hang unframed.
