Sailing Through A New World 24″x36″ Abstract Painting
Inspired by collage elements that read “Sailing Through A New World,” I tried to capture the triumphant spirit of human potential and the thrill of discovery. As we sail through uncharted waters, we’re forced to confront our deepest fears and unravel the mysteries of the unknown. At its core, this piece delves into the themes of isolation, identity, and self-discovery, evoking the sense of wonder and curiosity that arises when we find ourselves in a strange new world.
I created this abstract painting using archival-grade oil paint and natural non-toxic solvent on luxuriously thick, inch and a half deep gallery wrapped canvas. The edges are painted, so the piece is ready to hang unframed.
