“The Shape of Time” was inspired by the essence of Spring’s awakening and how it can symbolize a spiritual awakening. It was influenced by the concept of living mindfully in the present moment and accepting it as it is. By embracing the ever-changing nature of life and recognizing the beauty in impermanence, we can cultivate a deeper appreciation for the present and find peace in the midst of chaos. The painting serves as a poignant reminder to stay present, live mindfully, and trust in the unfolding of time.
I created this abstract painting using archival-grade paint, gold leaf, and natural non-toxic solvent on luxuriously thick, inch and a half deep gallery wrapped canvas. The edges are painted, so the piece is ready to hang unframed.
