Nowhere To Be Found was inspired by the feeling of buoyancy and exhilaration that comes in very early spring. Gold leaf with oil paint was the perfect way to capture the feel of the fresh spring sunlight.
Circles are a powerful inspiration for me. In my work, they symbolize the dynamic and endlessly changing cycles of the self, the world, and life.
I created this abstract painting using archival-grade oil paint and natural non-toxic solvent on luxuriously thick, inch and a half deep gallery wrapped canvas. The edges are painted, so the piece is ready to hang unframed.
