Journey of Wonder was inspired by all of the thoughts and emotions that go through your mind as you walk through the changing seasons, observing how the landscape is transforming around you. You may be there in the present moment, but you’re also in your own head, going deeper and deeper into your imagination, creating the things you want to see, wishing for what you want to happen, and manifesting your dreams.
I created this abstract painting using archival-grade oil paint and natural non-toxic solvent on luxuriously thick, inch and a half deep gallery wrapped canvas. The edges are painted, so the piece is ready to hang unframed.
